What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
Zuma Eats collects information you provide: your name, email address, delivery contact number, profile photo, delivery address, order details and support messages. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide an email relay address and your name according to your choice. Guests provide contact and delivery details for their orders without creating an account.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate accounts, fulfil orders, communicate about orders, provide support, and operate and improve the service.
Your delivery number
The delivery contact number is used to reach you about an order. We do not send verification codes to it and we do not treat it as proof of identity. It is stored as unverified.
Who we share it with
We share the details necessary to fulfil an order with the participating restaurant, the delivery rider, and the service providers that operate the app. Payment methods are handled by a payment provider; Zuma Eats stores only tokens issued by the provider and display details, never full card numbers.
Editing and deleting
You can edit your profile and delete your account in Account settings. Deleting removes your usable account and associated profile data. Limited order or transaction records may be retained only for legitimate operational or legal needs, under a published retention schedule, and are unlinked from you. Guest order information follows the same schedule. Contact zumarides@gmail.com for privacy requests.
Before launch: the operating entity and its location, the actual payment provider, any analytics or marketing tools, specific retention periods, applicable rights, and cookie details must be added here. Every claim above must be reconciled with the integrations actually in use.
